The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards has kicked off for 2017, so it’s time to get your media production submitted. This is the 8th year for the event which honours the world’s best corporate media productions.
There is an open call to all film producers, client companies, agencies, TV stations, and students, to submit their corporate films, advertisements, online media, documentaries and reports for judging before a jury of film experts. This year’s jury panel features Oscar and Emmy winners, as well as marketing and communication professionals.
The Awards Festival will take place on September 27th and 28th, 2017 in the legendary French ‘city of films’ – Cannes.
Winners will receive the coveted Dolphin Trophies in gold, silver and black at the Awards Gala Dinner. The Grand Prix White Dolphin trophy will go to the best film of the festival, with the new Blue Dolphin trophy awarded to the best production company of the year.
There’s also a ‘Before the Awards Gala’ taking place during the festival at Palm Beach, Cannes. Along with the lecture series, which took place for the first time in 2016 and was very popular.
Trophies are awarded in a total of 41 categories summarised into the following five main categories:
- Corporate Films and Videos
- Documentaries and Reports (TV, Online, Cinema)
- Corporate Online Media
- Production Arts & Crafts
- Student Films
To address new video technologies and the current changes taking place within the media & film industry the Awards have added a number of new categories.
- 360-Degree Documentaries
- Best Use of 360-Degree
- Social Media & Short Videos (Snack Content, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat…)
All productions which have been aired, produced or posted online after January 1st, 2015 can take part in the competition.
Submissions can be made online via the entry tool – Entries close June 2nd, 2017.
