Ever wanted to fire a sub machine gun?

Well, this is probably not your chance, but hey, you can record it instead. Sound Librarian is running a free course on October 24 at Melbourne’s Docklands. You get to record firearms, a motorbike, create horror effects with your vegies, and mess around with all kinds of other sounds. You only have to register for it.

 

Sound Librarian creative director Stephen Schutze who has spent more than a decade recording and creating audio for a range of media formats, and now produces commercial sound effects libraries for a global market with customers such as EA, Activision and Warner Bros Studios worldwide. The course starts at 11am and you need to register before midnight on 20 October to get into the studio site.
