The RED® 4K Broadcast Module allows for live 4K streaming, enabling you to capture and view action in real-time. Compatible with both EPIC DRAGON and SCARLET DRAGON cameras, the new 4K Broadcast Module uses four 3G-SDI output connections to broadcast 4K video at up to 60 frames per second. Five ¼-20 mounting holes are built into the top of the module, allowing for various mechanical peripherals to be attached.

The RED® 4K Broadcast Module requires either the MODULE ADAPTOR or the +1 ADAPTOR MODULE be connected to the BRAIN. Only power/battery modules or the REDmote can be attached to the rear of the module.

The REDLINK™ Development Kit allows programmers to create custom applications to control their DSMC via mobile device, computer, or microcontroller. The kit contains a USB pre-loaded with the REDLINK SDK sample apps, as well as additional resources. Use the SDK, apps, and resources to create custom applications that allow you to adjust controls on the DSMC, including Record Start/Stop, Shutter Speed, White Balance, ISO, and programmable User Keys. You can also program your custom app to monitor the status of your camera settings.

Completing the REDLINK™ Development Kit is the REDLINK™ Bridge, a wireless module that allows apps to communicate with the DSMC through the REDLINK™ Command Protocol (RCP). Additionally, the REDLINK™ Bridge interfaces with the RED 3-AXIS LENS CONTROL SYSTEM’s T.H.C. (TACTICAL HAND CONTROLLER) to control focus and iris on Canon and Nikon lenses. The REDLINK™ Bridge attaches to the rear of the DSMC brain or compatible rear module, and supports a wireless communication range of approximately 50 ft.

Note: The REDLINK™ Bridge requires that the DSMC is on firmware v5.2.8 or later.
