Designed as a creative hub for actors and film-makers ISA melds traditional teaching methods with sophisticated technologies to educate and inspire great film actors. Studies include acting for TV, film, animation, voice over, gaming and hi-end effects, as well as core subjects focusing on essential life skills such as career and contract management. ISA’s teaching staff is made up of well-known actors, industry experts and film practitioners. Their single objective is to train and present to the world the best film and screen actors Australia has to offer.

The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (CUF60107) is a full time course that will give students the skills required to develop a lifelong and sustainable filmmaking career.

The course has been designed for emerging producers who are ready to face the challenge of creating the screen content that future audiences will demand. Screen producers need story and business skills that work across film, television, the web, transmedia or games, and ISA is focussed on developing those skills in talented people.

Students will be thoroughly trained in the creative and business areas of the screen and media industries and supported through the development and production of a number of their own projects. Students will learn to build their personal brand as a filmmaker while constructing a portfolio that will be the foundation of their producing career.

The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media is designed to build on students existing skills, knowledge and creative ideas. The course is structured to become more demanding as students progress, always pushing them to develop themselves, but with mentoring and support aimed at keeping the workload manageable. Students will grow to become a confident professionals and graduate knowing they have had the best education possible.
