FUSION STUDIO 7.7 RELEASED

There’s been a slew of updates from Blackmagic Design of late. Camera Utility 2.0 was released, along with an update to DaVinci Resolve 11.2, and now the company has released the Fusion Studio 7.7 update for its Windows-based VFX software.

The update includes general performance improvements/enhancements and adds a render node installer to the mix.

The update is only for the Studio (paid) version of Fusion, click HERE to download it.

Along with all the VFX, compositing and animation tools found within the free version of Fusion, the purchased Fusion Studio 7.7 includes a number of optical flow tools for advanced retiming, stabilization and stereoscopic 3D production. Plus support for third party OpenFX plug ins, and distributed network rendering, allowing you to render jobs on an unlimited number of computers. Studio also includes Generation, a collaboration tool, with multi-user workflows that allows teams to manage, track and review their production at any stage. Users can also move projects from the free version to a workstation running Studio, to take advantage of the unlimited distributed network rendering. Which means not every person on the team needs to have the costly version of the software.

BM has said that Fusion Studio 7.7 has a one-off cost, of US$995, with no hidden costs, annual maintenance fees, subscriptions, or per node render license costs.
