The Røde and Red Giant bundle offer is back again, featuring a free copy of PluralEyes Express to all new purchases of select microphones, until the end of 2015.
In the past, this has been a popular bundle for Røde and it’s particularly good for indie filmmakers who don’t have a lot of cash to spend, the software is usually valued at US$99.
PluralEyes Express is an exclusive version of Red Giant’s audio/video syncing software that has been specifically tailored for RØDE users. The software analyses audio from multiple sources and automatically syncs them to the corresponding visuals, without the need for clapboards, timecode or manual syncing.
It works in multiple NLE editing programs (including Final Cut and Adobe Premiere) by allowing users to pull audio and video into a single timeline, the software then creates new timelines with the synced files. Where it really shines is when using multiple cameras, it gives you a perfectly synced timeline, with all videos lined up above the audio.
