Team ProCreate

A brand new platform for filmmakers has emerged that is designed to create a community of collaborators, working together to produce independent content.

According to ProCreate co-founder Rob Goldman, the premise for the platform is “Projects need people, people need projects – that’s our slogan.”

Rob told us that “Since it’s creation we have had over 1,200 ProCreators and counting that come from 6 continents and over 25 countries and we’ve helped over 200 ProCreations and counting.”

Impressive stuff!

In addition to creating content, the site also lists job opportunities, with placements already being filled at Defy Media, Maker Studios, and T Group Productions.

ProCreate co-founders, Jeremy McKnight and Aron Reuben Korney (along with Rob Goldman) have so far produced on the platform three podcastsmovie reviews, music reviewsmovie newsshort film reviews, and recently TV reviews, the first of which is Guillermo del Toro’s televised adaptation of The Strain. There’s also a community section to foster networking and support for filmmakers.

Rob has told V&F that they welcome short filmmakers to submit their films for review. If you’ld like to have your film reviewed then you can submit it here.

We at V&F think this is a great way for filmmakers to collaborate and network with other like-minded people. We’re looking forward to seeing the future projects that stem from it. So get involved!
