Metro Screen in collaboration with Screen Australia is looking to commission three NSW filmmaking teams (producer, director, writer) to produce short films around a theme for broadcast on television.
The official theme for 2014’s Raw Nerve entries is “Second Chance”
Three projects will be selected for script development in the Metro Screen STORY INCUBATOR, with Directors refining their craft skills at the DIRECTOR FOUNDRY before rolling the camera in full-scale production. The final projects will receive a cinema screening and be assessed for television broadcast.
The Raw Nerve funding program offers 3 places for teams to develop and produce a 5 minute narrative project, with $3500 cash funding, professional equipment and facilities as well as an intensive development hot house.
Applicants are required to submit a three-minute video pitch outlining the team’s experience and a project idea that incorporates the theme “Second Chance”.
