RØDE Microphones has just announced its “RØDELink” digital wireless Filmmaker Kit has begun shipping and will soon be available to dealers worldwide.
The fully-digital wireless audio system, features next-generation 2.4GHz, 128-bit encrypted digital transmission sent on two channels simultaneously, one button pairing, OLED display, and a 24-bit/44.1k digital audio signal at a range of up to 100 meters (over 100 yards).
The Filmmaker Kit consists of a beltpack transmitter, on-camera or beltpack receiver, and RØDE’s broadcast quality Lavalier microphone.
RØDE plans to release future filmmaker systems with specific features to address all levels of film, news gathering, presentation and stage use, and will consist of a number of receiver and transmitter options.
