We have the final winner of our Røde smartLAV competition Allan Rendell who comes from Mittagong, NSW.
Allan was referred to Video&Filmmaker Magazine for “reviews on equipment and industry direction” and was surprised and delighted to find out that chance referral would produce his now ownership of the Røde smartLAV.
Allan is the Operations and Development Manager at Actors Centre Australia, a Sydney based acting institute that labels ‘inspiration’ as a fundamental “key to transformation”. Former student (and now patron) Hugh Jackman is quoted on the ACA website as saying “More than giving me a rock solid foundation, ACA lit the passion for the craft and the deep respect I have for being an actor and being part of the industry. ”
Allan is currently looking at expanding the film and television facilities within the Actors Centre Australia; so the Røde microphone couldn’t go to a better person.
