The 22nd Camerimage International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography begins this week in Bydgoszcz, Poland and runs from the 15th – 22nd November.
Arri is heavily sponsoring Camerimage this year, with workshops and a booth in festival centre, Opera Nova. The company plan on decking its booth with Alexas, Alexa 65s and Amiras that you can demo, along with technical staff on hand for any questions.
There’s also a number of workshops planned for the duration of the fest, with leading cinematographers such as Phedon Papamichael, ASC; Stijn Van der Veken, ASC, SBC; Johann Perry and Neil Harvey.
The company plans on leaving its mark in the minds of festival goers, with its Big Screen Experience, projecting footage shot on the latest Arri cameras and lenses onto a giant cinema screen. Workshops and news from the fest will be available on Arri’s showpage here, going live opening day. That link will show a 404 page before the festival starts (Nov 15), so bookmark it until then.
We reckon if you plan on attending, then you should take a few minutes out learn how to pronounce the festival’s host city name – Bydgoszcz.
